Eid is finally here! :)
It's amazing how fast Ramadhan went by this year. Although next year will be longer as it's gonna be during summer holidays. Plus the days are longer.
It sucks not having Raya with Aish. :c I will be facebook-ing her later how we're gonna be missing her this year. Sadly, she's gonna be spending Raya in school. I told her everytime that we would call her, that we were gonna Fed-Ex kueh tarts to her. :p Hahah, hopefully we can. Even though it might a tad late.
Later on in the day, we're having an open house with family friends and newcomers and so that's nothing new. :) Cos' we have it every year. Lol, everyone knows that we always have it on the first day of Raya. :) There will be loads of other houses in the neighbourhood having their own celebrations – Esp the lo-chels. :) Hahaha.To relatives back in Singapore,
We miss you LOADS! Even though I'm the only one in the family who's never spent Raya EVER in Singapore, someday InsyAllah, I will. Get the family together and catch up as always. Raya in Dubai is always fun. Get to hang out with my fave childhood friends I've grown up with. It's pretty awesome! :) I love it here.
Somehow, I can't imagine myself living in Singapore cos' I can't really survive there. Living conditions in general and transportation is definitely different from here. Dubai's my home, and always will beeeee :D
